I went to an event where Marathon Market & Deli sandwiches were catered. They were amazing. The chicken pesto was a fan favorite (and I loved it) but even better was the Italian salami and ham. Soooo good. Will totally use their catering services and look forward to checking them out at their location. If you love great tradition subs with flair - you must try.

Marathon Deli is the best place to grab lunch in Ashland. My family and I have been going there for years, especially when we used to live in town...They have an extensive menu featuring all different types of subs & wraps, hot dinners, soups, and deli salads. The owners and staff are really friendly and do a great job! The place is really clean and located right on route 135, very easy to get to.
Came in and tried the pastrami, quite possibly the best sub sandwich I've ever had !! great staff clean restaurant. Place was very busy and for them to keep the quality up to par like that was impressive. My boyfriend tried the turkey special and he asked me to learn how to make it. we'll definitely do business with them again.
This place is the best deli around. Possibly the best deli I have ever been too. Only moved to Ashland a month ago and have been here at least 6 times. Every sandwich myself or my friends have ordered has been thoroughly enjoyed. Great chip selection, yummy fruit cups, quality brownies. Anything marathon does; they do it right. If you go once, I assure you will be back for more!!
Especially after work. Everyone behind the counter is really friendly and they do their best to get your order to you as fast as possible. I usually get their wraps..the cape coddah is ah-mazing. It's a chicken salad wrap with cranberries and walnuts. Their ingredients always taste fresh and they are very generous with the portion sides. Their wraps are huge and can really make two full meals.

I had The Don which was a panini with arugula, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto. It was so good, It didn't have an opportunity to have its picture taken.
Multiple soups per day offered up too.
Grab a single serve or large bag of chips and decide upon a large selection of cold drinks. Private parking lot with a staff that is attentive and fast working.

Marathon Deli catered a wine tasting dinner at their neighboring Wine Empire's private room. We had a tough menu of steamers, chowder, lobsters,chicken....all were mouthwatering, piping hot and totally delicious.
Thank you for the fabulous service and attention to detail. Would highly recommend you to everyone!
